The Impact of Decaying 99-Year Leases

On 24 Mar 2017, Minister of National Development Lawrence Wong gave a word of caution about paying high prices for old flats.

He mentions that only about 4% of HDB flats are eligible to have their leases renewed via the Selective Enbloc Redevelopment Scheme (SERS).
